Complete the International Student Pre-Application

All international students wishing to apply to Carnegie Mellon must complete the preliminary international application before their application for admission will be accepted. Because Carnegie Mellon only offers financial aid to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, we use this form to verify each student’s ability to pay for a Carnegie Mellon education.

Complete the Preliminary Application by January 1st.
