If you can’t interview with a member of the admission staff on campus or in your hometown, you’ll find an alumni interview to be a very valuable experience. The Carnegie Mellon Admission Council (CMAC) is an organization of nearly 1,000 Carnegie Mellon alumni who volunteer with the Office of Admission to help attract and enroll prospective students. CMAC’s membership includes alumni from the United States, its territories and several foreign countries.

Alumni interviews are available to applicants in early fall through February 1. If you haven't applied to Carnegie Mellon, follow the instructions for prospective students and then contact the Office of Admission so we can provide you with the contact information for a CMAC representative. Alumni interviews should be conducted in a public place (coffee shop, local library, bistro, etc.).

The Alumni Directory isn't currently available and will be made available after September 1.
