Information Sessions

The Office of Admission offers Information Sessions (both on and off campus) throughout the year. Please check our on-campus visit calendar for availability before scheduling your visit. 

On-Campus

From February-November, we offer an On-Campus Information Session for students who are looking for more information about the value of Carnegie Mellon, our colleges and programs, the city of Pittsburgh as well the admission and financial aid process. This session lasts an hour and is followed by a Q&A session. Visitors can also participate in a campus tour after the information session. Register here!

If you’re an admitted student interested in visiting our campus during the month of April, please call the Office of Admission at 412.268.2082 so we can make you aware of our April Visits for admitted students.

In addition to the campus tour, various schools and departments within Carnegie Mellon offer departmental tours and events. This is an opportunity for prospective students to tour facilities, attend an information session or meet with a faculty member while on campus.

In a City Near You

In the early summer and fall, the admission staff travels to various parts of the globe, hosting information sessions in hotels or high schools. The information session offers an experiential look at the university through student and faculty stories. See if we'll be coming to a city near you!
