COVID-19 Update: The health and safety of the Carnegie Mellon University community and our guests is our top priority. Therefore, as a protective measure in response to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with guidelines from health agencies, we're suspending any scheduled visits to Carnegie Mellon. We're happy to work with your group to schedule or reschedule once campus tours are no longer suspended, and encourage you to explore our online visit opportunities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this time. Please let us know if you have any questions at email@example.com.
If you'd like to explore Carnegie Mellon's campus with a large group, we're happy to accommodate you. Let us know your plans at least four weeks in advance and we'll work with you to make sure your trip's a success.

Requests must be submitted at least four weeks prior to visit. Submission of the group tour request form does not guarantee your visit. Please allow 7 business days for processing. A confirmation email will be sent once the tour has been secured and finalized. Once you receive your confirmation email, you'll receive payment details.
Please note we are unable to accommodate group visit requests during the month of April, due to increased campus visitor volume. In addition, group visits are not available during the months of May and December due to university exam schedules and breaks.
Student ambassadors will lead a sixty-minute walking tour that will highlight the student experience and the unique perspective that comes from our students being involved in our campus community both in and outside of the classroom. Visitors should wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes to walk in. It's also a good idea to bring an umbrella. In the event of lightning, the tour will immediately conclude to ensure the safety of visitors and guides.
Information sessions are offered to students who are seriously considering applying to Carnegie Mellon. The hour-long long session will showcase academic programs, opportunities outside of the classroom, the admission process and financial aid. Due to limited space and to ensure sufficient seating and compliance with on campus safety regulations, in order to have your group attend an information session, please indicate your interest on the Group Visit Request Form.
We ask that the appropriate number of chaperones accompany all groups on campus. Additionally, during campus tours, we expect a certain level of etiquette and respect from guests to our Andrew Ambassadors and campus. Our campus tours are meant to be an educational experience. Should students be observed conducting themselves in an inappropriate or distracting manner that takes away from the education value of the campus experience, our Andrew Ambassadors have the right to conclude the tour.
Please leave plenty of time to navigate through Pittsburgh traffic. Visitors should plan to arrive at the Coulter Welcome Center located on the first floor of the Tepper Building at least 15 minutes early. If the group is late, the tour will be shortened. If the group is more than 15 minutes late, the tour will be cancelled.
